88gsm vs 114gsm stretch bases
88gsm is the lighter stretch option when the garment needs float and print brightness more than compression. For leggings and higher-cover bottoms, move to 114gsm lycra.
Always lock stretch direction and recovery on a sewn sample before bulk — stretch bases punish pattern errors more than rigid satin.
