When to specify 155gsm eyelet mesh

Eyelet mesh exists for one job: keep players cooler without giving up a printable jersey face. At 155gsm the aperture size and yarn count balance airflow against opacity, so dark undergarments do not show through under stadium lights the way ultra-light meshes sometimes do.

Buyers in the Gulf, Southeast Asia and southern Europe usually lock 155gsm as the adult default, then drop to 145gsm for juniors or step up when a league brief asks for a tougher hand. Same construction family — one RFQ can cover the band.

If your print design is heavy full-bleed art and you want a closed face rather than visible mesh holes, switch the body to Interlock 155gsm and keep mesh only on underarm or back panels.

Breathable sports jerseys — especially football and training tops in warm climates. The eyelet grid vents heat while remaining stable enough for dye-sublimation logos and numbers.
155gsm is the adult match default for most of our buyers. 145gsm suits kids’ kits and very hot venues. 165–180gsm adds durability and a slightly heavier hand. We can sample two weights in one shipment.
500kg for a first custom order. Repeat orders negotiable. If you need multiple GSM in one program, tell us the split by weight so we can plan dye lots.
